• I will put students and the educational mission of the District first when making decisions.
  
  
• Before making a decision, I will seek input from the stakeholder groups of the Peralta Community College District to the greatest extent practical.
  
  
• I will work to ensure that the decision-making process of the Board of Trustees is open and accountable to the community.
  
  
• I will refuse to accept campaign contributions from vendors with business before the Board.
  
  
• I will recuse myself from any vote in which I might have a real conflict of interest or the appearance of such a conflict.
  
  
• I will never vote for short-term gains without weighing them against the long-term consequences.
  
  
• I will work with all trustees to move the District in the right direction.
